PAWVEDA

Plant-based wellness for furry souls

🐾✨ This Is All About Our Fur Babies... ✨🐾

It’s one of the hardest things — watching our pets in pain or discomfort.

They may not speak, but their eyes, their body, and their behavior tell us everything.

Just like us, their bodies react to chemicals — often with side effects or temporary relief.

That’s why we choose a different path: natural healing through herbs.

🌿 Herbal healing doesn’t just cover the symptoms — it works to gently address the root cause.
No harsh chemicals. No quick fixes. Just nature working in harmony with your pet’s body.

Because our fur babies deserve care that’s kind, effective, and deeply healing. 💚

Our Story

🐾💚 My Story – Why I Chose Natural  Healing for My Fur Baby 💚🐾

My baby boy Simba is now 4 years old — our proud Oregon boy.
And our sweet California girl Hazel, also 4, is a rescued angel I fell in love with the moment I saw her.

A while back, I started noticing some worrying changes in Simba.
He began shaking his head, licking his paws, biting his feet, and sneezing constantly. We took him to the vet — they told us there was nothing to worry about. But I knew something wasn’t right.

As days passed, he began biting and scratching so much, he injured himself. One night, I heard him crying in pain from the living room. When I checked him and gently shaved some fur to examine his skin, my heart broke.

His back was red and inflamed. His tail had scratches and bald patches. Even his back legs showed signs of infection and hair loss.

It was yeast infection — and he had been silently suffering.

The next day, I called the vet to confirm — but I made a decision from the heart:
As an Ayurvedic practitioner, I chose not to go with chemical-based treatments.
Instead, I created a natural, herbal formulation — a soothing Ayurvedic lotion and spray — to help him heal, gently and safely.

After applying it regularly, Simba finally started to feel better. 🙏
It took time — about 4–6 weeks — but the infection healed, his energy returned, and most importantly, he was happy again.

That’s when I realized — so many fur babies suffer silently, just like Simba did.

They deserve more than temporary relief.
They deserve natural healing that treats the root cause — just like we do.

🌿 This is my story.
And this is the heart behind why I began creating Ayurvedic healing products for pets.
Because I believe all our fur babies deserve to feel safe, seen, and truly healed. 💚

🐾 Could My Pet Be Allergic? 🤔

Is your fur baby itching, scratching, licking, chewing, or constantly rubbing their face or paws?
Are they suffering from damaged skin, ear issues, or digestive troubles like vomiting or diarrhea?

👉 These might be signs your pet is dealing with allergies — and they’re more common than you think.

🦠 What Could Be Causing It?

Your pet could be reacting to:

  • 🐜 Fleas or parasites

  • 🍗 Food allergies

  • 🧴 Shampoos or cleaning products

  • 🌿 Lawn chemicals or insecticides

  • 🧺 Laundry detergents or wool fabrics

  •                      🌸 Seasonal pollen, moulds, or dust mites (yes, even indoors!)

                    The most common culprit?
Atopic dermatitis — a skin allergy caused by environmental allergens like dust, pollen, mould, or dander.
It affects 1 in 5 pets and can lead to year-round discomfort.

⚠️ Why It Matters

If left untreated, allergies can turn into:

  • Painful skin or ear infections

  •    Hair loss, thickened or darkened skin

  • Unpleasant odours

  • Chronic digestive problems

🐕 What Should You Do?

📞 Speak to your vet or holistic pet healer if you notice these symptoms.
The sooner you start healing, the better your fur baby will feel.

🌿 Gentle, herbal approaches can help address the root cause and bring long-term relief — without harsh chemicals.

🐾 How to Support Your Pet’s Hip & Joint Health (Naturally)

1. 🌿 Herbal & Ayurvedic Support

Use anti-inflammatory and strengthening herbs to support cartilage, reduce swelling, and ease stiffness:

2. 🐕‍🦺 Joint Supplements

Natural or vet-recommended supplements that support cartilage regeneration and joint lubrication:

  • Glucosamine & Chondroitin

  • MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane)

  • Omega-3 fatty acids (from fish oil or flaxseed)

  • Hyaluronic acid

These help cushion joints and ease pain over time.

3. 🐾 Weight Management

Extra weight puts more pressure on joints. Maintain a healthy diet with:

  • Low-inflammatory, grain-free foods

  • Lean protein (chicken, turkey, fish)

  • Steamed veggies (carrots, spinach, sweet potato)

Avoid commercial foods high in fillers and preservatives.

4. 🧘‍♂️ Gentle Movement & Massage

  • Regular short walks or low-impact exercises like swimming

  • Abhyanga (Ayurvedic oil massage)

  • Gentle stretching or physiotherapy sessions (if recommended by your vet)

5. 🛏️ Comfortable Environment

  • Provide a supportive orthopedic bed

  • Avoid slippery floors (use rugs or mats)

  • Keep them warm and cozy—cold worsens joint stiffness

6. ⚕️ Check for Underlying Issues

Always rule out:

  • Hip dysplasia

  • Arthritis

  • Lyme disease or other infections
Your vet or holistic practitioner can assess severity and help create a custom plan.

💚 Healing Takes Time, But It Works

With patience, love, and consistent natural care, you can help your pet regain mobility and joy — pain-free and chemical-free.

🦠 Yeast Infection in Pets

🐾 What Is a Yeast Infection?

A yeast infection is an overgrowth of the fungus Malassezia, which naturally lives on your pet’s skin. When the immune system is imbalanced or the skin environment is disrupted, yeast can multiply and cause irritation.

🔍 Common Signs of Yeast Infection

  • Constant itching and scratching

  • Red, inflamed skin or hot spots

  • Musty or sour odor

  • Hair loss or greasy fur

  • Darkened, thickened skin (elephant skin appearance)

  • Licking paws, chewing feet, or shaking the head

  • Recurrent ear infections (brown, waxy discharge)

⚠️ Causes

  • Allergies (food or environmental)

  • Antibiotic or steroid overuse

  • Moisture buildup (especially in ears, folds, paws)

  • Poor diet (high carbs, processed food)

  • Weak immune system

  • Hormonal imbalances

🌿 Natural & Ayurvedic Support for Yeast Infection

1. 🧴 Topical Care

  • With our formulations

2. 🍲 Internal Healing

  • Switch to a low-carb, high-protein, fresh diet

  • Add probiotics (natural yogurt or pet-safe probiotic powders)

  • Support liver detox with herbs like Guduchi or Triphala

  • Use Turmeric, Neem, and Giloy internally (under guidance)

3. 🛁 Bathing Tips

  • Use antifungal herbal shampoos with neem, tea tree, or aloe (avoid tea tree in cats unless heavily diluted)

  • Keep skin dry and clean

  • Clean ears with pet-safe solutions; use mullein oil + garlic drops if vet-approved

🕰️ How Long Does Healing Take?

With consistent care, most yeast infections improve within 4–6 weeks, though severe cases may take longer. It's essential to address both external symptoms and internal root causes.

✅ Prevent It from Coming Back

  • Regular grooming

  • Balanced, anti-yeast diet

  • Avoid overuse of antibiotics/steroids

  • Regular ear and paw cleaning

  • Immune-boosting herbs and holistic care

💚 Your pet doesn’t have to suffer in silence.
With gentle, natural care, they can feel relief, heal from within, and get back to wagging their tail in joy.
